Our no-shed culinary steam elements won't shed carbon and offer more filtration surface than carbon tube elements due to their pleated media design.

Also available are a variety of sanitary process filters for air, gas, liquid and steam applications. Available in the following materials:
- Borosilicate glass fiber
- 316 stainless steel - sintered
- 304 stainless steel - pleated mesh/fleece
Filters remove fine particles or even microbials from a liquid or gas and include a disposable woven or non-woven “sock” or filter cartridge. (Think of this process as similar to your coffee maker filtering coffee grounds.) Microns or micrometers are the typical measurements used in filtering. Our no-shed culinary steam elements feature a fibrous stainless steel material that exceeds 3-A requirements and is 99.9% efficient at 2 microns.
