TIG Welder/Fabricator
Position Description:
Our CNC Machinists understand blueprints, tolerances and the parts they are making,
as well as the programs used to produce quality parts. They’re responsible for setting up
both the part and tooling, adjusting speeds and feeds for efficient output of quality parts,
and measuring to ensure parts adhere to specs. They ensure their machines are working
at full capacity and stocked with needed materials. Also responsible for creating and
maintaining a safe work environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Technical diploma – CNC Machinist preferred.
- 2 years CNC lathe and milling machine experience preferred.
- Experience setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes independently.
- Able to accurately read blue prints and comprehend standard operating procedures.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole
numbers, fractions, and decimals. - Must have standard machining tools.
- Must be able to accurately measure using calipers, micrometers and tape measures.
- Must possess strong communication, problem solving and organization skills.
- Capable of bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, crawling, climbing, lifting, carrying,
pushing, pulling, reaching, working overhead and standing for long periods of time
while performing job tasks. - Able to perform manual material handling, sorting, lifting, and carrying of assorted
sized items up to 60 pounds. - Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment while maintaining accuracy and
attention to detail. - Commitment to quality and safety excellence a must.

Duties & Responsibilities: - Read and interpret blueprint specs to determine procedures and operational sequence.
- Load programs into machine tool controls.
- Set up and run CNC lathes and/or mills.
- Select tooling and machine speeds and feeds to maximize efficiency.
- Remove burrs, sharp edges and clean parts using buffers, belt sanders and rotary tools.
- Perform and document in-process inspections using measuring and inspection tools.
- Show a strong commitment to quality, safety, and customer service. Ensure company
policies and procedures are consistently followed. - Other duties as assigned.
